Long train journey with the kids and I made cheese and pickle pockets the night before. They held up beautifully in the bag and nobody had to deal with squashed bread. Easy, tidy, and clean hands afterwards.

I never got a reliable seal with my fillings, mostly because I like them generous. It just doesn't work for a loaded sandwich. Fine for a thin layer of spread.

Nothing leaks out in the lunchbox now. Sealed edges are the key.

It is light plastic but the lid closes with a proper click when you push down firmly. I have made maybe forty sandwiches with it now and nothing has loosened. Clean cut every time with standard sliced bread.

Made a batch of egg mayo pockets for a picnic in the park and everyone thought I had bought them. Very neat little squares and not one fell apart.

Sandwich making became the afternoon activity. Kids loved it.

My first few pockets split open because I overfilled them. Once I kept the filling away from the edges it did seal, but it's a bit fussy and I still make normal sandwiches most days.

Lay, fold, press. Two seconds and it's sealed.

I teach a life skills class and we used this to make snack sandwiches. The students loved it. They spread the filling, set the bread on the base, and closed the lid. The hinge makes it obvious how it works. The finished squares looked so tidy, and everyone ate their own. Easy to wipe down after.

Evenings are tight in our house, so I make the next day's sandwiches while dinner finishes. Cheese and ham on soft sliced bread, lay it on the base, push down with both hands and it's cut and crimped. The crusts go in a bag for breadcrumbs. Three lunches done before the pasta is ready, and the kids actually finish them.
