Swivel Tap Extender
$12.99
A fixed spout sends water to one spot in the sink. This swivel tap extender adds three joints between the tap and the outlet, so the flow can reach a far corner, fill a tall pot or point upwards.

- Three swivel joints
- Aerated stream or spray
- Folds back under the tap
- Fits a 0.9 in (22 mm) tap thread
How to use it
Check the thread, fit it, aim it
- 01
Check your thread
Unscrew the aerator from the end of your tap and measure the thread across. This fits 0.9 in (22 mm); a 0.9 in (24 mm) tap needs a separate adapter.
- 02
Screw it on
Make sure a rubber washer sits in the joint, then screw the extender on and tighten it gently by hand so the seal is snug.
- 03
Aim and switch
Swing the arm to rinse the far corners of the sink or fill a tall pan, and twist the head to change between stream and spray.
Close up
Three joints between the tap and the water
Thread collar
Screws on where the old aerator was. It takes a 0.9 in (22 mm) thread, and in the supplier's photos it fits over the outside of the spout.
Swivel joints
One joint at the top, one at the elbow and one at the head. Each turns on its own, which is where the 1080 degrees comes from.
Two mode head
Twist the outlet to move between a soft aerated stream for filling and a wider spray for rinsing the bowl.

Extender, short swivel aerator or spray hose?
A pull out hose usually means a new tap. The extender and a short swivel aerator both screw onto the tap you have; the jointed arm reaches further and can turn the flow upwards.

Check the thread size before you order: this one is 0.9 in (22 mm), and the box has no adapter.
Questions
Only if your tap takes a 0.9 in (22 mm) aerator. Unscrew the aerator and measure its thread. Many UK kitchen taps use 0.9 in (24 mm), which needs a separate 22 to 0.9 in (24 mm) adapter, and pull out spray heads or taps with no removable aerator will not take it.
No. The supplier's packing list is one extender with a single 0.9 in (22 mm) thread. If your tap measures 0.9 in (24 mm), buy a 22 to 0.9 in (24 mm) adapter before you fit it.
Unscrew the aerator at the end of the spout and measure across the thread with a ruler. Note whether it is on the outside or the inside of the spout, because the supplier doesn't state which this extender has. Around 0.9 in (22 mm) can take it; around 0.9 in (24 mm) needs an adapter.
Yes. Every supplier photo shows it on a basin tap, where it helps rinse the bowl or wash hair. The same 0.9 in (22 mm) thread check applies before you order.
