Bought it for my sister who always complains about onion skins. She sent a photo of it hooked on and a happy note.

Hook this frame over the cupboard door under your chopping board and you have a small open bag right at the edge of the countertop. Peelings go straight in, and the main bin stays shut.

How to use it
Open the cupboard under the countertop and drop the hook over the top edge of the door.
Pull a carrier bag or small bin liner up through the frame and fold the top over the rim.
Sweep peelings in as you go, then tie the bag and take it out to the main bin.
Close up

A flat plastic hook drops over the top edge of the door. It suits doors and drawer fronts thinner than 0.8 in (2 cm).
The bag folds over this inner rim and is held by the white outer frame, so it stays open while you scrape.
The frame measures 12.5 by 8.7 in (22 cm): wide enough for a board edge, small enough for a carrier bag.
Compared
The big bin is still where the bag ends up. This just saves the trips across the kitchen with a handful of onion skins while you cook.
| Compared | This productDoor bag holder | Kitchen bin | Bowl on the countertop |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sits at the countertop edge | Yes | No | Yes |
| Keeps the countertop clear | Yes | Yes | No |
| Needs a lid opening each time | No | Yes | No |
| Bag size | Carrier bag or small liner | Full bin bag | None, tip it out |
Empty it after each cooking session; it has no lid, so it is not meant for scraps that sit overnight.
It hooks over doors and drawer fronts thinner than 0.8 in (2 cm). Check there is a small gap above the door when it closes, because the hook sits in that gap.
A supermarket carrier bag or a small pedal bin liner. The frame is 4.9 × 8.7 in (12.5 × 22 cm), so a full kitchen bin bag is too big for it.
The hook sits on top of the door, so the door needs a little clearance below the countertop. Most kitchens use it with the door left open while cooking, then lift it off.
Yes, on a drawer front under 0.8 in (2 cm) thick. Open the drawer slightly so the hook can drop over the top edge.
It is made for light scraps like peelings, shells and trimmings. The supplier gives no load rating, so empty heavy, wet waste into the main bin rather than letting the bag fill.

Sample, not realHandy for peelings. It swings a tiny bit when I open the cupboard door. Not a problem, just something to notice.

Sample, not realA bag on a cupboard door would swing about but it hangs steady. Checked the door thickness first and it fit. Peelings, coffee grounds, all fine.

Sample, not realDinner for four means a lot of peeling potatoes and cutting the ends off green beans. This catches it all and saves me running to the main bin every few minutes. Easy to wipe clean too.

Sample, not realUsed it for fish skin and trimmings from a fillet and it held a small bag steady while I worked. Tied it up and bin straight after.

Sample, not realOur kitchen is tiny and the bin lives by the back door. This brings the bin to me.

Sample, not realHooked it over the cupboard door under the counter and now I scrape carrot peels and onion skins straight into a carrier bag while I chop. The counter stays clear and I tie the bag off when I'm done. No screws or sticky pads, it just hangs on.
