Surprisingly tidy for batter. Nothing down the side of the jug, nothing on the hob.

Whisk the batter in the jug, then hold it over the pan and squeeze the trigger. The valve in the base lets out as much as you want, so pancakes come out round and the stovetop stays clean.

How to use it
Pour in milk, eggs and flour, fit the lid and turn the crank until no dry flour is left.
Grip the handle and squeeze the trigger. The valve in the base opens and the batter falls straight down.
Release the trigger to close the valve, move to the next spot and squeeze again.
Close up

Hangs from the lid. Turning the crank spins it through the batter and breaks up pockets of dry flour.
Marked in milliliters up to 800, so the milk can be measured straight into the jug.
Runs down the inside of the handle. Squeeze it and the red valve under the jug lifts open.
Plugs into the top of the lid and pulls off again for washing.
Compared
A ladle is fine for a few pancakes. For a tray of cupcakes or a stack for four, mixing and pouring from the same jug saves a bowl and the drips.

Pancake, crêpe and cupcake batters pour well. Stiff mixtures such as cookie dough are too thick for the valve, so spoon those instead.
Take off the lid and crank, rinse the whisk, and run warm soapy water through the jug while you squeeze the trigger. The supplier doesn't list it as dishwasher safe, so wash it by hand.
The scale on the side goes up to 27.1 fl oz (800 ml). Stop a little short of the top so the whisk can turn without splashing over the rim.
Yes. Hold it over each paper case and give the trigger a short squeeze. The batter falls from the base rather than over a lip, so it is easier to put the same amount in every case and keep the tin clean.
Turn the crank until no dry flour is visible before you pour. If a lump does catch, squeeze the trigger all the way and give the jug a gentle shake over the bowl.

Sample, not realFirst few pancakes were huge because I held the trigger too long tbh. Once you learn a quick squeeze it's great.

Sample, not realThree kids, three different pancake sizes requested. Trigger makes it easy, small, medium, large, no mess. Dad's happy.

Sample, not realPours brilliantly. The crank whisk gets there but takes a while with a full jug, so I give it a quick stir with a fork first to break up the flour.

Sample, not realCrepe batter pours really well out of the bottom. I squeeze a stream into the hot skillet, swirl, and nothing ends up on the stovetop. The crank in the lid gets rid of lumps fast too.

Sample, not realHosted a pancake brunch for eight. Mixed one batch, refilled once and kept a steady stream going on two griddles. Nobody waited long.

Sample, not realOur apartment kitchen has one tiny counter, so mixing in a bowl and then ladling meant batter everywhere. This jug does both jobs. I mix in it, pour from it, and the only thing to clean is the jug itself. Clear sides mean you can see exactly how much is left, and it rinses out quickly once breakfast is done.
