Coffee shop foam at home does not need a steam wand. A slim wand with a spinning coil whips a warm mugful into a thick, glossy foam, and it rinses clean under the tap.
Colour Green

How to use it
Open the battery compartment in the handle and fit 2 AA batteries. They are not in the box.
Put the whisk under the surface of the milk first, then press the button to start.
Hold the whisk just below the foam as it grows, and switch off before you take it out.

The single button starts it and sets the three speeds. The supplier rates the motor at 10,000 to 14,000 rpm.
An ABS handle that holds 2 AA batteries, bought separately. It runs at 3 V, so there is no plug or charging lead.
A double coil of stainless steel wire, 4.5 cm across, on a thin steel shaft. It drags air down into the drink as it spins.

A jug frother heats as it whisks; a wand needs you to warm things first. In return it costs far less, fits in a drawer and works in any mug.

No, it only whisks. Warm the milk in a pan or the microwave first for a hot drink, or froth it cold for iced coffee.
No. It takes 2 AA batteries, which you buy separately and fit in the handle.
Whole gives the creamiest foam, and semi skimmed rises higher but lighter. Barista style oat drinks work well; thin almond or cashew versions foam less and collapse sooner.
It whisks instant coffee, matcha, hot chocolate powder and protein shakes into a drink without lumps. It is too small and too gentle for whipping cream or egg whites in any quantity.
Warm it until it is hot to the touch but not boiling. Anything near boiling foams poorly, and foam made from scalded dairy collapses quickly.

Does froth, but I rarely bother using it.

There are five of us and everyone has something different, hot chocolate, cappuccino, matcha and a milky tea with foam on top. One frother does it all and it just lives on the side.

The whisk is wide enough to catch plenty of milk, so a big mug fills with foam fast. Took me one go to learn to lift it as the foam grows.

I used to pick up a coffee from the shop near the station every morning, so the habit adds up. Now I make a latte at home before I leave and it's honestly just as good. Warm the milk, froth on the middle speed, pour over the espresso. Tastes better, and I get to sit down for five minutes with it.

Works really well. The black handle does show fingerprints and coffee drips, so I wipe it down after each use.

Works a treat. The green is a little darker than I pictured, but I like it now it's on the worktop.

Batteries in, dip, press. Done, and the foam is lovely.

Foam on warm and cold milk is excellent and it's tiny. My one reservation is cycling through speeds with a single button. If I overshoot to the fastest I have to press through again. Not a deal breaker, and now I know how many presses I need, I barely notice it.

I do pour over coffee at the weekend and wanted a decent milk foam to go with it. Warm milk, middle speed, lift as it rises. Looks like it came from a cafe.
