Half a bag of crisps goes stale overnight with a peg on it. Run this little heat sealer along the top instead and the bag closes like it did in the shop.
Colour White

How to use it
Plug it into a USB socket and let it charge fully before the first seal.
Push the side switch on, hold the bag closed and press the heat button for a few seconds.
Run the jaw slowly along the top of the bag in one pass, then let the seam cool before you test it.
Close up

One switches on the heating strip for sealing. The other pushes out a short blade for slitting a bag open along a straight line.
The top edge of the bag sits in this narrow gap. Squeeze gently and draw the sealer from one side of the bag to the other.
A USB socket on the side tops up the battery inside. A small light by the power switch shows it is on.
Compared
A clip is quicker to put on. A sealed seam closes the bag the way the factory did, and there is nothing to fall off in the cupboard.

Thin plastic bags such as crisp packets, sweet bags and freezer bags. It does not seal paper, card or foil trays.
No. It has a rechargeable battery inside and charges through the USB port on its side.
The jaw probably moved too fast or had not warmed up. Press the heat button for a few seconds first, then draw it slowly in one pass and let the seam cool.
About 9.5 by 4 by 3.5 cm and roughly 45 g, so it sits in a palm, a drawer or on the fridge door by the magnet on its back.

Sample, not realThree bags before lunch, no problem. The battery holds up and the magnet puts it back on the fridge every time.

Sample, not realKeep a bag of jelly sweets for when the grandchildren visit. Used to go sticky and hard. Now sealed after each visit and they're still soft.

Sample, not realWe buy the big sharing bags of crisps and they always went stale with a peg on them. Now I flick the switch, hold the button for a few seconds and slide it along the top. Next day they're still crunchy. It lives on the fridge door on its magnet, so it actually gets used instead of disappearing into a drawer.

Sample, not realWay better than bag clips that never stay on. The seal is tight and it stays put on the fridge door.

Sample, not realWe use this every single day on chip bags and the kids' snack bags, and it saves so much food. My quibble is that the white one shows smudges, little fingerprints all over it, so I'd go with the blue if I bought again. Seals are solid once you learn to go slowly, and the little blade is handy for opening the bag in the first place.

Sample, not realMy lot leave the sweet bags open and everything goes rock hard. Sealing them back up with this has actually fixed it.

Sample, not realSwitch it on, hold the button, wait, then slide slowly or the seal doesn't take. For me a chip clip is just quicker. It does work though.
