Not what I expected
I wanted a standing rack and this is a flat roll over the sink. My own fault, but I never got on with it.

A draining board takes up worktop all day. This roll up dish drying rack spends the washing up lying across the sink, then rolls into a 47 cm tube that lies in a drawer.
Colour Black
Size 12 bars, 47 × 23 cm

How to use it
Lay it across the bowl so both end links rest on the rim, bars running from front to back.
Stand washed glasses, rinse salad in a colander on it, or leave a pan to drip. Water runs straight into the sink.
Shake it off, roll it from one end and put it in a drawer or stand it at the back of the worktop.
Close up

Each bar is held at both ends in a plastic link. The links hinge against their neighbours, which is what lets the whole rack roll up.
Round steel bars run the full 47 cm. Water drops between them straight into the sink.
The row of links is what sits on the sink rim, so measure for these, not just the bars.
| 12 bars | 15 bars | |
|---|---|---|
| Length (spans the sink) | 47 cm | 47 cm |
| Depth (front to back) | 23 cm | 28 cm |
| Packed weight | 260 to 286 g | 317 to 349 g |
| Suits | Narrow bowls, half bowls | Standard single bowls |
Measure across the bowl from rim to rim. It needs to be narrower than 47 cm, with a flat ledge on each side for the end links to rest on.
Compared
A draining board holds more and drains through a tray. The roll up rack drains straight into the sink and gives the worktop back when the washing up is done.
| Compared | This productRoll up rack | Draining board | Dish towel |
|---|---|---|---|
| Uses worktop space | No | Yes | Yes |
| Drains into the sink | Yes | Through a tray | No |
| Stores in a drawer | Yes | No | Yes |
| Holds a full load | No | Yes | No |
Measure the inside of the bowl from rim to rim. The rack is 47 cm long, so it needs a bowl narrower than that with a flat rim on both sides to rest on.
Both are 47 cm long. The 12 bar rack is 23 cm deep and suits a narrow bowl or a drainer; the 15 bar rack is 28 cm deep and covers more of a standard bowl.
The supplier gives no heat rating for the plastic end links, so let pans cool before resting them on the rack, and keep hot bases on the steel bars rather than the ends.
Yes for a stack of dinner plates or bowls across the middle, where the bars are supported at both ends. Do not load the very edge of the rack beyond the sink rim.

Bought a second for the utility room sink after loving the first in the kitchen. Same quality, same ease.

Works well and rolls up as promised. Could do with some way to hold it rolled.

A colander sits on it to rinse lettuce and tomatoes and the water runs straight through. Works for washing grapes too. Much better than balancing things on the edge of the sink.

Evenings are a mountain of pots and plates for five of us. I go with the 15 bar size and it covers most of the bowl. Everything drains into the sink and then I can wipe it down and pack it away. Lovely.

I hand wash my wine glasses and was worried about them tipping over, but the bars are close enough that they stand up fine. Roll it up when the party is over.

I figured it would be hard for anything small but lids and measuring spoons sit across the bars fine. Only the tiniest forks slip through.

Big pans used to sit on a towel for hours. Now I lay them upside down on the rack over the sink and they drip away. Then I roll it up and it's gone.

Rinsing herbs and berries over it then leaving them to drip. Hardly any mess.

Washing lettuce, radishes and cucumbers every evening. I lay them across the bars while I chop other things. Saves a lot of pulling out and putting away.
